The Department of Political Science and International Affairs seeks a tenure-track assistant professor to pursue research in Legislative Studies and Public Policy in US politics and provide course instruction on the same at all levels of the department curriculum. The assistant professor will be responsible for building a robust record of published research, delivering high-quality instruction to undergraduate and graduate students, and providing service within the University, as well as to the profession and the wider community.
We seek candidates whose scholarly and teaching interests center on American politics, especially the legislative process and the creation of public policy. Applicants may focus their research either on the U. S. Congress, and/or state legislatures.
