Summer Intern - Process Engineering (Fabrication) - Indianapolis, IN
Fabrication is a key part of our business.
What you'd do
- Assist in Implementing new processes to the plant
- Problem-solve machining and stamping issues
- Program CNC machines using G-Code and Conversational
- Support rebuilds of old equipment to like-new condition
- Identify critical spare parts and partner with maintenance to improve process reliability
- Support shop floor layout with AutoCAD or equivalent
- Collaborate with other plant employees and work in a team environment
- Keep abreast of latest technology and recommend new processes improvements
- Effectively communicate in a professional, positive manner, with all levels of the organization
- Develop work instructions and standard work to support the shop floor
