What you'd do
- Work with the new product development, value engineering, and sustaining engineering teams to gain an understanding of our products.
- Use mechanical design and analysis tools to work on projects through new product concepting, design development, and execution
- Fabricate and build prototypes within a manufacturing environment
- Learn and conduct product testing to industry and internal standards
- Learn manufacturing processes and practices by working with and assisting the manufacturing engineering team
- Perform quality analysis and learn to verify conformance of parts
- Work with cross-functional teams at AD Systems such as purchasing, finance, project management, and drafting while conducting projects
- Gain experience to create a strong foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion and AD Systems
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Sophomore year must be completed by the start of the summer internship program for undergraduate candidates
