The Enterprise BDR on the General Business team is the engine behind Braze's large company growth. You'll partner with Account Executives to identify, engage, and qualify prospects at companies with 5000 employees+, helping B2C brands discover how Braze can transform their customer engagement.

This is a high-impact role where you'll blend volume-driven outreach with personalized, consultative prospecting. You'll research accounts, craft relevant messaging, and create opportunities that directly fuel Braze's pipeline.

Every individual has a personal quota, and shares a team goal. The team is collaborative, communicative and we are always the first to take action. There's a lot of support and camaraderie with plenty of room to be proactive and take control of your own sales success.

BDRs gain huge value from working together at our offices.

What you'd do

  • Prospect into Enterprise (5000 + employees) accounts across industries like retail, media, fintech, and travel
  • Generate qualified meetings for the Enterprise AE team through outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn)
  • Research accounts to identify pain points around customer engagement, cross-channel messaging, and data activation
  • Collaborate with AEs to develop territory strategies and prioritize high-potential accounts
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in Salesforce
  • Consistently hitting or exceeding monthly meeting and pipeline targets
  • Building a repeatable outreach motion that balances efficiency with personalization
  • Developing strong product knowledge to speak credibly about Braze's value to prospects

What they want

  • Experience: 8+ months in outbound prospecting in sales, customer-facing, or high-activity roles
  • Prior experience in enterprise or complex sales environments is a plus, but not required if you've shown strong ramp in a similar role.
  • Communication:Strong written and verbal skills; ability to craft compelling, concise outreach and explain your reasoning, not just your results
  • Coachability: Eager to learn, take feedback, and iterate quickly
  • Resilience: Comfortable with rejection; motivated by targets and competition, not discouraged by "no"
  • Curiosity:Genuine interest in martech, SaaS, and how brands connect with customers
  • Organization: Ability to manage high volume without sacrificing quality or personalization

What you get

  • Clear path to Senior Business Development and Account Executive (AE) roles: Structured development with dedicated manager coaching and enablement
  • High visibility: Work closely with AEs and leadership; your impact on pipeline is measurable and recognized
  • Collaborative culture: Team environment built on sharing wins, best practices, and continuous improvement
  • Competitive comp: Base salary plus uncapped commission tied to qualified meetings and pipeline generated
  • Competitive compensation that may include equity
  • Retirement and Employee Stock Purchase Plans
  • Flexible paid time off
  • Comprehensive benefit plans covering medical, dental, vision, life, and disability
  • Family services that include fertility benefits and equal paid parental leave
  • Professional development supported by formal career pathing, learning platforms, and a yearly learning stipend
