What you'd do

  • Support integration and testing of mission hardware, software, sensors, radios, processors, and avionics systems.
  • Develop and test software for command and control, telemetry, and subsystem interfaces.
  • Perform hardware/software bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting in lab, HIL, ground-test, and aircraft environments.
  • Support system interfaces, networking, communication protocols, and integration requirements.
  • Collaborate with software, avionics, autonomy, communications, and flight-test teams.
  • Document test results, technical findings, and system configurations.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with both software development and hardware integration through internships, coursework, research, projects, or competition teams.
  • Familiarity with networking TCP/UDP, Ethernet
  • Programming experience in C++, Python, or a similar language.

The Mission Systems Engineering Team develops and integrates the hardware and software that enable Hermeus aircraft to execute missions. As a Mission Systems Engineering Intern, you will work across avionics, software, communications, and system integration to help build, test, and troubleshoot mission capabilities.
