WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

Technical Design Interns will be assigned to a Category or Division and work under the direction of a Sr. Tech Developer or Manager. They will assist the team in the fit and construction from initial concept through to commercialization and production for assigned styles to lead to on time delivery and development according to critical dates, product specification, sustainability, performance, and profitability goals. Interns will assist in the creation and revision of the Tech Pack for assigned styles; ensuring all appropriate development documentation is maintained including product specs and prototype notes. They will assist in the execution fit and construction standards for a category or product group to ensure consistency.

What you'd do

  • Registered in a program or college for Apparel Design, Pattern Making, Textile Science or related field with a graduation date between December 2027 and Spring/Summer 2028.
  • Candidates must be able to present a portfolio showcasing relevant work
  • Basic knowledge of the development process from inception through production, including but not limited to pattern making, grading, construction, costing, manufacturing, embroidery, materials, and machinery
  • Ability to work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. Strong verbal and written communication skills are key.
  • Ability to write product specs and advanced construction instructions
  • Ability to use Adobe Illustrator and exposure to Apparel CAD Pattern Design software (Optitex/Browzwear/CLO3D) highly desired
