OVERVIEW:
The Smithton DC is seeking an experienced Loss Prevention Associate to support the 2nd shift (Monday - Friday 3p - 11p) The role is responsible for and has a large degree of oversight within the following areas: Inventory Integrity, shrink control and profit protection, safety and emergency preparedness, physical security, and
yard management (logistics and operations)

What you'd do
- Work closely with Operations & Leadership team to investigate incidents which includes document review, visual inspections. Clearly communicate findings with internal & external stakeholders.
- Serve as support for potentially volatile terminations and /or situations within location.
- Supports accident investigations with video review and detailed reporting.
- Responsible for security screening all people entering/exiting the facility per DSG requirements.
- Test, troubleshoot and respond to all alarm systems (burglar, Fire & Amarok [perimeter electrified fence])
- Opening/Closing of DC facility per DSG guidelines without supervision
- Complete building walkthrough multiple times throughout daily shift
- Focusing on misdirected freight, safety, physical security, firearm security, & deterrence
- Knowledge of Genetec system, create access control badges & ensure all building credentials are accurate.
- Complete daily observations of facility and document /address opportunities.
What they want
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-3 years experience
- Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, Profit Protection, Operations, Safety, Logistics
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 10-50 pounds intermittently.
- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews.
- AI tools are not permitted to be used by the candidate during any part of the interview process.
