Vast is developing next-generation space stations and space infrastructure using an incremental, hardware-rich, and low-cost approach. Vast is rapidly developing its multi-module Haven Station to ensure a continuous human presence in space for America and its allies, enabling advanced microgravity research and manufacturing, and unlocking a new space economy for government, corporate, and private customers. Haven Demo’s 2025 success made Vast the only operational commercial space station company to fly and operate its own spacecraft. Next, Haven-1 is expected to become the world’s first commercial space station when it launches in 2027, followed by additional Haven modules.

What you'd do

Monitor, track, and move parts as required through the manufacturing shop floor to ensure timely delivery through completion
Ensure parts are handled in the proper manner to avoid any damages.
Coordinate with purchasing and logistics to ensure parts are moved to outsourcing locations.
Collaborate with engineering, planning and procurement teams to ensure that shortages are flagged ahead of time and delivered by the shop floor need date.
Work closely with manufacturing management to ensure metric goals are met.
Communicate part status and completion dates to customer
Assist leadership with projects and action items as needed.
Support manufacturing shop floor with returns to inventory
Follow up with engineering on open issues blocking RUN completion
Assist in correcting wrong system data which is driving incorrect MRP signals
