What you'd do

Working with the research team to address tough physics and engineering problems
Understand the scope of the problem at hand, search the literature, and implement findings
Design, model, and tests solutions
A background in physics, optics, chemistry, or materials science with a good understanding of mathematical methods
A creative, multi-disciplinary approach to challenging problems
The ability for self-motived, independent work, as well as for collaboration
A curious mind that will ask questions and contribute to discussions of other research projects
