Job Description TITLE: Behavioral Intervention Assistant
DESCRIPTION: Performs as a member of a transdisciplinary team under the direction of behaviorist, school psychologist and certificated staff by providing specific instructional and behavioral support in all areas of development. Services are provided in the school environment. Assist the certificated teacher in all aspects of classroom processes, including facilitation of student social interaction and small group instruction. Employees in this classification receive general supervision within a standard framework of policies and procedures while working in the school environment.
