Job Description:
Transportation Coordinator
The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for comprehensive movement control, operational sustainment, and multimodal transportation support across air, land, and sea.
What you'd do
- Monitors all transportation movements and scheduled distribution activities.
- Supports analysis, planning, and coordination of daily provisioning, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Conducts convoy briefings, staging area management, and safety briefings.
- Inputs, validates, and closes movement data in TC-AIMS II, MTS, BCS3, and other systems.
- Tracks convoys and retrieves reports from Movement Control Teams (MCTs).
- Maintains historical transportation and movement records.
- Creates circulation overlays and supports route planning.
- Analyzes freight cost performance and assists with sourcing transportation carriers.
- Ensures HAZMAT documentation, certification, and regulatory compliance.
- Uses LIS systems including GCSS-Army, LOADOUT, IGC, and JCM.
