Ovintiv’s program is a comprehensive summer internship designed to provide a solid foundation of knowledge and experiential training while giving students the opportunity to apply what they are learning in school in a real-world setting. As an intern you will spend the summer working closely with an experienced mentor and be assigned a project and various other responsibilities intended to provide you with learning opportunities while delivering meaningful contributions to Ovintiv.
What you'd do
- Researching competitor ownership of surrounding leases.
- Understand the implications of new government rules or court cases and communicate the impact on the organization.
- Obtain all necessary permits, applications, title opinions, and approval for well development.
What they want
- Must be legally eligible to work in the Country of placement without sponsorship.
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student through December 2027.
- Must be available May 17- August 5, 2027.
- Enrollment in Energy and Professional Land Management or equivalent program is preferred.
