What you'd do
- Your responsibilities may include support for concept development and prototyping, detailed design and analysis, supplier support, build support, and test support.
- You will work under the guidance of a team lead to understand the technical, schedule, and budget expectations for your tasking.
- You will work alongside other engineers from across all engineering disciplines to collectively achieve success for your program and customer.
- You will receive skill-development training and technical support from Raytheon's network of engineering experts.
- You will have opportunities to document and present your work.
- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
What they want
- Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
- Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
- Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience with PTC Creo CAD software modeling and drafting
- Experience with hardware prototyping or modification
- 3.0 cumulative GPA
