General Matter enriches uranium.
We are designing, building, and operating the world’s lowest-cost enrichment services, here in the US.
In the process, we are restoring America’s ability to produce nuclear fuel to power AI, advanced manufacturing and critical industries our country relies on to remain competitive.
Fuel drives the cost of advanced reactor electricity production, and enrichment drives the cost of the fuel that advanced reactors consume. Reliable, low-cost enrichment is the catalyst for the nuclear Renaissance now under way.
Our mission is to make nuclear not only the cleanest and safest source of baseload power, but also the most affordable.
What you'd do
- Support the sourcing and qualification of suppliers for mechanical, electrical, and specialty hardware components.
- Work with suppliers to gather information on pricing, lead times, availability, manufacturing capabilities, and technical requirements.
- Support purchasing and material planning activities to ensure components are available when needed for engineering and manufacturing builds.
- Assist with supplier performance tracking across delivery, quality, cost, and responsiveness.
- Conduct sourcing and market research to identify potential suppliers and alternatives for critical or difficult-to-source components.
- Analyze supply chain and procurement data to identify opportunities to improve cost, lead time, material availability, and operational efficiency.
- Support inventory management, procurement documentation, supplier onboarding, and other supply chain processes.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and finance to support hardware development and production schedules.
