Spend your spring semester exploring healthcare actuarial work and building the foundational skills needed to grow as a modern actuary. The Cigna Group’s Actuarial Executive Development Program (AEDP) offers a unique part-time actuarial internship for students earlier in their actuarial career journey. The experience is designed to complement an academic schedule while helping students prepare for the depth, pace, and expectations of a future summer internship.
Throughout the spring, interns will gain guided exposure to how actuaries use data to solve healthcare business problems and support important decisions. You’ll contribute to a meaningful project, strengthen your analytical and professional skills, learn how tools such as AI and advanced analytics are used in practice, and build relationships with experienced actuaries.
What you'd do
- Develop business acumen through job shadows, leadership lunches, and trainings to deepen their understanding of actuarial work at The Cigna Group.
