Our site in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
As an Electrical Manufacturing Engineering Co‑Op, you will support the build, testing, and continuous improvement of electrical and electromechanical assemblies within a fast‑paced production environment.

What you'd do
- Support the build, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and electromechanical assemblies
- Assist in developing, refining, and validating manufacturing processes for electrical and mechanical sub‑systems
- Create, update, and maintain clear, accurate, and operator‑friendly work instructions
- Collaborate with technicians and operators to ensure documentation reflects real production practices
- Perform root‑cause analysis on defects and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and process mapping to identify improvement opportunities
- Participate in equipment setup, calibration checks, and verification of test fixtures
- Identify ergonomic, safety, and process‑related risks on the production floor
- Recommend and help implement safety improvements to reduce hazards and improve operator experience
