What you'd do

• Hands-on experiments
• Run different chemical reactions (organic synthesis, polymerization, or rubber compounding)
• Conduct formulation work
• Perform various tests (physical, mechanical, or rheological) Primary Responsibility.
• Literature search and data analysis
• Search literature to gain understanding of current project
• Analyze experimental data to deduce scientific conclusions Primary Responsibility.
• Report writing and presentation
• Complete a technical report
• Present the project to pertinent group(s).

What they want

• The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.
• The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.
