What you'd do
- Training and application of RTX tools including CREO and PDM
- Design and Documentation support utilizing engineering tools, Adobe, and MS office suite
- Engineering Change and Drawing Release
- Analytical and Technical engineering work within a program environment with possible presentations on designs as needed
- Training on Raytheon processes and procedures
- Work may include participation in building hardware in a lab environment
- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
What they want
- Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
- Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
- Experience utilizing CAD (Computer Aided Design) tools such as CREO or equivalent
- Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects
- Experience in Mechanisms or Opto-Mechanical Design
- Experience in Lab/Cleanroom
- Experience developing and delivering presentations (verbal and/or written)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including a basic knowledge, and understanding of Tolerancing.
- 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
