What you'd do
- Implement tactical strategies to achieve the desired vision and execute long and short-term objectives to support the value stream’s goals.
- Drive Operational Excellence culture change through coaching of employees and leaders to drive Lean behaviors and follow the principles and practices of Allegion’s Operational Excellence Model.
- Support the Lean initiatives as the Lean Specialist in collaboration with the value stream team through operational design, process improvements, and systems support utilizing value stream mapping techniques.
- Provide effective project updates to Value Stream Leadership on key metrics and sustainability.
- Participate in and actively direct Gemba Walks and educating others on continuous improvement including takt time attainment and Lean methodologies.
- Implement and maintain visual performance tools.
- Bachelor’s degree desired in preferably a management, leadership, engineering, or supply chain course of study; relative experience could be considered.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a position associated with lean concepts or Toyota Production System.
- Experience in Front Line Leadership in operations and/or materials.
- Experience with distribution, warehousing and/or logistics facilities a plus.
