What you'd do
- Contribute to the preparation and execution of key Mechanical Analysis engineering tasks at Moog.
- Provide technical support to SDG groups across the US, as needed.
- Work experience may include finite element analysis (FEA), finite difference analysis, stress analysis, deflection analysis, thermal analysis, fatigue analysis, fracture analyses, magnetics analysis, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), transient flow analysis, general material characteristics, 3-D modeling, data reporting, and/or design and development modifications based on the student's educational discipline.
- Validate conceptual problem solutions by performing trade studies and analyses.
- Advise mechanical tests and correlate analytical models to test results.
- Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.
- Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.
