Job Description:
Dimensional Fund Advisors is seeking undergrad or graduate level students actively pursuing a degree to join our 2027 summer internship program. This nine-week program will be fully in-person and expose interns to the day-to-day activities of an Analyst in Global Client Group’s Operations department.
The GCG Operations Intern (Data & Tools) will support several sales enablement and asset reporting initiatives that are critical to the firm’s strategic sales efforts. The internship will provide exposure to a variety of teams and their projects.
What you'd do
- Effectively complete day-to-day responsibilities and tasks largely based on direction and support received from others
- Collect and analyze data to support various sales goals and campaigns
- Basic understanding of underlying systems used to generate standard reporting
- Effectively communicate product activities, presenting in small forums and team meetings
- Help maintain and improve process maps and documentation regarding sales data governance
- Assist with developing business intelligence capabilities for enablement of US sales channels, which include RIAs, broker dealers, banks, institutions, retirement plans, and consultants
- Identify areas to improve data automation and partner with colleagues to implement solutions
- Proactively communicate needs, challenges, and capacity
- Develop a robust understanding of Dimensional’s investment philosophy and process
What they want
- Minimum GPA of 3.2; pursuing an undergraduate or specialized Master’s degree with an expected graduation date of December 2027 - June 2028
- Coursework in information systems, computer science, or finance/accounting is preferred
