Position Overview
The Special Education Instructional Aide supports students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and helps create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Working under the direction of the Classroom Teacher, Special Education staff, and school administrators, the Instructional Aide provides individualized and small-group support to help students access instruction, develop independence, and successfully participate in the school community.
The Instructional Aide reinforces instruction and assists students within the classroom, specialized programs, and other learning environments.
