Internship Overview
HAI Group is seeking a motivated and organized undergraduate or graduate student in economics, statistics, sociology, political science, public policy, urban planning, or related field. As the Research Analyst Intern, you will work closely with the Director of Research to support the Public and Affordable Housing Research Corporation (PAHRC) team on projects related to affordable housing research, communications, market analytics, data visualizations, and database development.
What you'd do
- Engage in research prep through data collection and data management to build data sets for analysis, cleaning current data sets to ensure accuracy, and further prep data for research.
- Implement research projects through data analysis, reviewing literature, and internet research.
- Communicate research findings to others through written reports, data visualizations, social media campaigns, email communications, and other materials.
- Participate in learning sessions to boost research tools, communication skills, and industry knowledge.
- Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in economics, statistics, sociology, political science, public policy, urban planning, or other related degrees.
- Prior coursework in statistics and/or research methods.
- Work on-site in the HAI Group office, located in Cheshire, CT, Monday–Friday
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
