What you'd do
- Under the direction of a lead software developer, create and modify data integration processes leveraging technologies such as C# and SQL Server Integration Services.
- Create and maintain technical design documentation.
- Meeting and discussing with both technical and business staff to understand business needs and impacts to technical systems.
- Perform other duties as needed.
What they want
- Must be able to work out of IAT’s Milwaukee, Wisconsin office without housing assistance or relocation assistance from IAT Insurance Group.
- Must be able to complete the entirety of the 10-week internship program (May 24th, 2027 to July 30th, 2027)
- Rising undergraduate Junior or Senior.
- Major in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field of study.
- Demonstrated course work or experience in one or more of the following: object-oriented programming language, data integration experience, and/or relational database systems.
- Experience with Microsoft technology stack, including C#, SSIS or SQL Server preferred but not required.
- Proactive problem solver.
- Independent worker: can work proficiently for short periods with limited direction.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and business domains; curious personality.
- Strong written and verbal communication and ability to communicate at right level of detail based on audience.
