AI RAN Telecommunications Engineer InternThe Opportunity:

Support the development of architectural blueprints for new networks and enhancements to production networks. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts, and limited industry knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity and refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

  • Experience with wireless communications systems through coursework, research, projects, internships, or a technical field
  • Experience using programming or technical computing tools such as Python, C/C++, or MATLAB
  • Ability to drive collaboration across engineering and product teams
  • Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering by Spring or Fall 2027, or Spring or Winter 2028
  • Knowledge of AI/ML algorithms or applications, including as applied to networking, signal processing, automation, or technical domains
  • Knowledge of wireless algorithms, communications principles, and protocols, including digital signal processing (DSP)
  • Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
  • Hybrid: If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role.
