What you'd do
- Modeling of power system components for short circuit studies
- Using substation metering and relaying diagrams to model the relay and zone of protection
- Gathering event information (Weather, lightning, fault records) for event analysis
- Fulfilling data modelling from transmission portfolio delivery/capital projects
- Fulfilling short circuit study request from various departments (MISO,ISP)
- Doing data reporting and analysis on power system network
What they want
- Current student, Sophomore or higher
- Enrolled in an ABET accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week)/ part time during the school year (less than 4 hours a week) and commuting to the designated work location in-person, per our hybrid work policy.
